So our production facility messed up. I ordered a custom two-tone leather kit for a mkiv Jetta. It was supposed to look like the samples we got in:
But instead, we got this:
The reason is a simple mistake - the color code for Sterling Silver is 618. The code for Tangerine is 613. If someone sent handwritten instructions down to production it can easily be mistaken.

Maybe they saw the silver and knew better than to allow someone to roll around like Barbarella of Germany (no offense to your shop...obviously customer taste is outside of your control)

If I still had a MKIV, I’d jump on this. that tangerine looks great! Will fresh leather cover up the crayon smell?

Actually no. The seats are shaped differently in the Passat.
